At Bastille Metal Works, we are a small dedicated team that work very closely together and take great pride in producing one of kind custom metal pieces for our clients throughout the country. Because we are a small company and often work under the pressure of tight deadlines, we work closely and each of us plays a critical role in each and every project that leaves our shop door.

Meet the Bastille Family:

Chris Plummer - President

Chris Plummer is the heart and soul of Bastille Metal Works. He is a lover of art and over the years has become an authority on architectural metal work in America. Chris is influenced by the European aesthetic which led him to the designing of french bistro inspired countertops. It is this passion which fuels his need to continually push the bounds of architectural metal work. Chris lives in Savannah, the city of his birth, with his wife and children.

Luciana Thompson, LEED AP - Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Luciana Thompson works closely with Bastille Metal Works' clients, including designers, architects and contractors to ensure that all functional and aesthetic requirements are met in an effective and timely fashion. With a Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design and over 10 years of experience in luxury design and building, Luciana brings with her extensive experience in project management and an eye for excellence that our clients expect. Luciana is an invaluable leader in our firm, developing and communicating design solutions from inception to final delivery.

Originally from Brazil, Luciana is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, with a vision that supports the company's global market expansion.

Azim Aghil - Marketing Manager

Azim is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He joins our team as a skilled professional photographer, graphic designer as well as a web-designer. Azim is a designer first, a techy by default. He builds and maintains all of our web sites, is responsible for our social media. We are always amazed at the level of detail and the beauty he achieves with his thoughtful approach and always with a keen eye toward design and the Bastille aesthetic.

Nicole Braye - Office Manager

Nicole comes to us with ten years of experience in executive management, with extensive knowledge of operations, accounting and human resources. Nicole also has excellent client relations skills and offers our clients a hint of that Savannah charm. Nicole keeps us on our toes and we are so appreciative of her organizational skills as well as her commitment to customer service.

Mike Pelletier - Shop Superintendent, Mill Worker

Mr. Pelletier is a master wood worker with several decades of experience. Mike hand creates the substrates of our projects, which is the foundation of our aesthetic. His skill and precision with woodworking, along with a keen sense of artistry, allows us to cast our metals on beautifully molded substrates. Mike's past experience includes building fine furniture, custom cabinets, and restoring and replicating antiques.

Holly Elliott - Director of Public Relations

Holly is a graduate of Flagler College. She is a skilled public relations practitioner, writer, and lover of all things social media. She is our primary content writer, assists on all marketing efforts, and fosters Bastille Metal Works image as a premiere designer of metal furnishings both domestically and abroad. Her devotion to community involvement, love of ornate details and appreciation for design make her an excellent new addition to our small but growing family.

Joel Aiken - Lead Artisan

Joel has been with Bastille Metal Works since its inception. His skill level as an artisan has grown with the growth of our company. Joel is a project manager, trouble-shooter and designer. Joel works on the production floor casting and polishing our pieces and for large projects he hits the road with the mobile team.

Scott Campbell - Artisan

Scott is our newest artisan. He comes to Bastille Metal Works with solid skills in welding (including some under-water welding) and carpentry. These skills along with Scott's sense of artistry and the pride he takes in his work makes him an amazing craftsman. We are very pleased to have Scott on-board He is a welcome addition to our team.

Joe Sheppard - Shop Technician

We are very happy to welcome Joe to Bastille Metal Works. He has a wide variety of experience in industrial operations and is strongly mechanically inclined. Joe is responsible for keeping the shop organized and the equipment well-maintained. His attention to detail ensures that nothing gets missed on the production floor. Joe is also an apprentice with our artisans learning the casting and polishing processes of the metal work.

Gary Haggray - Technician

Gary assists the shop with organization and maintenance. He is currently an apprentice with our artisans learning the casting and polishing processes. We are excited to have him as a new addition to the Bastille Metal Works family.
