Its truly a work of art and it makes my entire great room and home!!! The design, patina and workmanship totally exceeded my expectations and from placing the order to shipping and delivery, everything went exceptionally well - on schedule and exactly as Bastille described and committed to me. I couldn't live with my horrible kitchen any longer, so I decided to do a major remodel. Since we live in our kitchen, I wanted it warm, inviting, and out of the ordinary. I purchased a huge french blue LaCanche range and needed just the right range hood and counter tops to complete the look. I remembered, from trips to France, the amazing zinc countertops in the cafes and decided that was the look I wanted. I stumbled across a chat room devoted to kitchens. It was fate! Not only did I get the unique countertops I was looking for, but also a range hood that may even outshine the range! From the first phone and email conversations, planning, drawings, and finally installation it was probably one of the easiest and definitely the best thing I did in my kitchen. Once I met Chris, and he brought his custom made metal, I knew I made the right choice! My backsplash is hand made, hand painted, and all hand installed by Chris! It is THE FOCAL point in my kitchen remodel! It completes the entire room. People don't just compliment the workmanship, they have to TOUCH it as well! I also love the custom window sill Chris made right here in my house! His ideas are simply one of a kind! All pieces of the window sill and backsplash take a very thorough cleaning as well, just as Chris promised! I love my "work of art", and love the compliments I get from my designer kitchen! We are in Savannah Georgia but we ship to France. For years I have tried to perfect what was once done in France, that is why we are the only company in the world that does a 100% cast product. There are companies in France that do nice work. One used to be in Nice but I am not sure if they are still around, if I can be of any help please let me know.
